National Minimum Wage Legislation - Is your Business complying with the law?

The National Minimum Wage Legislation has had an annual review of the rates and the changes made come into effect from 1st October 2011.

The new rates are as follows;

16 – 17 year olds £3.68
18 – 20 year olds £4.98
21 + year olds £6.08
the apprentice rate, for apprentices under 19 or 19 or over in the first year of their apprenticeship will increase to £2.60

Please note that it is the employer's responsibility to apply these changes.
